Why not?

Seen a few times on my f-list [edit] and figured it's a good way to work out extra background for my characters [end edit].

Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my personal fanon.

But please name the fic you want that character from, and it might take a while for me to post my answers.

Note, I've altered the date because this is staying open for a while. If I just can't come up with three facts for a character I've been asked for then I'll tell you so.

1) What is your characters name: Toura Asuka
2) How old is he/she: Good question, probably 150-250 years old, what really matters is that she's just a two-tail.
3) Is your OC a boy or a girl: Vixen I think would be the appropriate term.
4) What's his race: Kitsune

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
Even if she used her illusion to hide her tail and ears I think she's tall enough to get some stares.
2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world? Pretty much, normal for a kitsune. Black kitsune are a bit rarer than some other colours, but nowhere near rare enough to draw stares like Youko does.
3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)? Black fox ears and a black fox tail perhaps?
4) Would you consider your OC as attractive? Kitsune always are, don't ask me why, unless they've got some horrible scars, and even then some of them can just shapeshift to get rid of the scars.

1) Temper:
She hasn't shown it so far.
2) Does your character ever get depressed? If she did she wouldn't trouble her Patron over it, but she has been upset about her inability to use her elemental power.
3) Leader or Follower? She's too weak to be a leader, and she's fairly submissive anyway.
4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality? She feel rather inferior in many ways, because she didn't know what her elemental ability was until Genkai agreed to help her, and as a result she tend to be submissive.

1) Does your OC have a family of any sort?
A clan actually, kitsune don't pay as much attention to the traditional family units as humans do.
2) Is your character out on his/her own? Yes.
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events? She left her clan to find out what sort of elemental or quest-class power she might have and got captured and enslaved, what do you think?
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far? Either her childhood with her clan, or the time since Shuuichi bouht her and made her his concubine.

1) Single?
She's part of Shuuichi's harem, but that doesn't really matter, since he only bought her as a teacher, and he's only slept with her once, to bind her to him.
2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships? Well, there's this sort of fuck-buddy thing with Youko, does that count?
3) Virgin? She spent time as a whore, I don't think so.
4) Does your character like flirting? She knows how to do it, but she knows that at the moment it isn't her place to flirt.

1) What animal would you associate your OC with?
A fox of course, she is a kitsune.
2) Musical Instrument? None, or a wind instrument I guess.
3) Element? Light - and yes I know that technically it isn't an element, but she can manipulate it the way a fire demon could manipulate fire.
4) Planet? Does the Makai count?

Showing the Love:

1) Do you draw your character?
Point 1 - I can't draw that well. Point 2 - I never draw any characters, so why would I draw her?
2) Do you write about him/her? She's a secondary character in my Yu Yu Hakusho piece, so yes.
3) Do you use him/her in any rpgs? Hell no.
4) What other ways have you appreciated your OC? Just this meme, because she feels like the most developed of my OCs

1) Is your character wanted for anything?
2) What are three weaknesses in him/her? Umm A) She's not a very good fighter
B) She tends not to think for herself
C) Her power level is probably less than Kuwabara's, and in the fandom she comes from that's not a good thing
3) Strengths? She's better at hiding than Youko or Shuuichi are.
4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)? Only if Shuuichi tells her to. Well, she'd drink socially, but she doesn't need to block things out anymore, and drugs weren't available when she did.
5) What's one quirk about him/her? She's very good at staying unnoticed, even better than most kitsune, since a four-tail and a five-tail find themselves tending to ignore her if they don't want her at the time.
6) Does your character have any phobias? Not to my knowledge.
7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage? I haven't found anything so far, and Shuuichi considers her too valuable to play with her like that, for now anyway.
8) Does your OC like chickens? Foxes prefer to eat smaller prey.

The Final Question:

What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
I wouldn't be able to understand her, and she wouldn't understand me, not really.

Late, but here it is. Ten ways you can tell a fic's written by jessara.

10) There's a strong element of inequality in at least one relationship.

9) It's either the woman or the guy you'd expect to be submissive who's dominant.

8) There's a degree of genderfuck (hermaphrodite, shapeshifter who can be male or female at will, gender roles, mpreg...)

7) The dominance-submission set-up is permanent, there's little to no change in that.

6) Ends up with a permanent relationship, not necessarily conventional, but permanent (harem thing, demon mating ritual...)

5) Either a one-shot, or an epic, there's no real middle ground.

4) Some sort of weird cultural background or mental trauma enforcing the inequality of the relationship.

3) At least one partner is a killer, and neither of them have any problem with that.

2) The submissive partner(s) is/are a lot more invested into the relationship than the dominant.

1) The sex tends to be kinky.

A meme I saw on a number of my flist's journals has me posting the first paragraph of Incubus, then putting it through an English to German online translator, and then through the same process in reverse.

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.

I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.

I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

Repost this if you believe homophobia is wrong.

True Story. A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage. The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholicism is against gay marriage. The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, "I'm gay." The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshiped Satan. A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

If you would leave the classroom, repost this. It doesn't matter if you're straight, bi, or gay. It doesn't matter if you're catholic or not. Everyone is a human being and deserves happiness.
