I really do find all the stuff about materia in this fic facinating. Something that occured in retrospect of reading another fic is that all those unstable levels may represent a hell of a lot of interesting and unique functions.
It also got me wondering just how much Cloud's abilities with materia would stand up against Cetra abilities - I wouldn't be surprised if Cloud is discovering skills that were once common to the Cetra of old (more recent ones like Ifalna may have lost them though).
It's interesting also how much Cloud apparently found out by reading a few books on Dom/sub interaction too. ^_^
