Why are the senators so...well, interested about the rights?
The senators they spoke to tended to be rather...corruptible shall we say, and they were all imagining what they might do if they found themselves in the position of being a Sire.
Have you ever wondered how their kid is going to grow up with one parent so subservient to the other?
Kids, now that Regulus has given up his own daughter for Jean-Claude to effectively adopt. And Anita's going to be fairly uninvolved with raising their daughters, or at least she won't do anything to undermine Jean-Claude's authority over them. Anita doesn't flaunt her power over Jean-Claude anyway or at least I don't think I've written her as doing so.
How is Anita going to punish JC when their child grows up? Wouldn't it be terribly awkward?
