I get your point, but the 'generalised' issue could be partly an attempt not to offend Brangwen and partly because under the circumstances he's going to associate any discussion of het sex with Brangwen bedding Cloud. And thank you, it's supposed to be as close to dry and clinical a discussion of sex as possible.
