Seen a few times on my f-list [edit] and figured it's a good way to work out extra background for my characters [end edit].

Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my personal fanon.

But please name the fic you want that character from, and it might take a while for me to post my answers.

Note, I've altered the date because this is staying open for a while. If I just can't come up with three facts for a character I've been asked for then I'll tell you so.

Aeris: Cetra Restoration 'verse. Preferences to things about her early life.

I'll do my best, but you might be waiting a while, because thei Aeris is really secretive about her early life, and about most things.

Understandable - I think even canon!Aeris has the potential to be secretive, especially considering the way she dismissed Zack as "not serious" (though I wonder what Squeenix will make of it in CC).

Besides, I don't blame her not wanting to talk about life in the Shinra labs.

She turned out to be unexpectedly willing to share this time...I think part of that came from the first point.

1) Aeris' time in Hojo's lab wasn't as bad as you'd expect, certainly not as bad as what Sephiroth and Ifalna had to deal with. She was monitored and tested far more intensively than most children would be, but the tests weren't invasive, or for the most part painful. Hojo wasn't that interested in a mongrel pre-pubescent child when he also had an adult full Cetra female to work on. And Sephiroth treated her almost like a pet or a sibling, sometimes even managing to protect her.

1a) Hojo fully intended to breed Sephiroth to Aeris as a result of this, although he planned on two levels to the programme; an artifical insemination procedure, except he intended to have fully human females carry those children, and 'live-cover' where Aeris was intended to be Sephiroth's trophy wfe.

2) When Aeris was informed that they'd found some samples taken from Ifalna while investigating Hojo's labs, including an ovary and what looked like the remains of an unsuccessful effort at cloning her, she insisted on the remains receiving a proper burial, with a full funeral, since her mother didn't get a funeral while she was hiding from Hojo.

2a) If he'd had the chance Sephiroth would have made sure those samples were non-viable, but since he only learned about them just before he was sent to Wutai, and wasn't summoned back to the lab before the Restoration the Cetra had to see to that.

3) Aeris knew how to meditate by the time she was five, but she can't remember learning, and to this day she meditates more to help her filter out the Planet's voice than to hear it.
