Seen a few times on my f-list [edit] and figured it's a good way to work out extra background for my characters [end edit].

Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my personal fanon.

But please name the fic you want that character from, and it might take a while for me to post my answers.

Note, I've altered the date because this is staying open for a while. If I just can't come up with three facts for a character I've been asked for then I'll tell you so.

Cloud from Cetra Restoration AU, please.

And actually, I do like to know how Cloud and Seph met the first time?

1) He was five when he underwent the Cetra warrior caste power awakening ritual and came out the Planet's Weapon. It wasn't intentional, but he'd already started wandering the mountains around Nibelheim, and he fell into a Mako spring while badly injured - badly enough that he would probably have died otherwise.

1a) Immediately afterwards he left Nibelheim to find the Planet's Heart so they could restore their people.

2) Honestly, Cid is probably the only reason he managed to get to Midgar, as he reached Cid's hometown and met Cid there while Cid was on leave. Cid actually deserted to help Cloud, and to the day Cloud doesn't know why. (Neither does Cid, although he recognises that he's probably better off under the Cetra than he would have been under ShinRa.)

3) The cavern Cloud and Aeris needed to get to in order to awake the Cetra was in Wutai territory. They met Sephiroth on their way there, and Sephiroth helped them, partly because he remembered Aeris from the lab, and partly because something about Cloud made him want to make the boy happy. He was also impressed by Cloud's sheer will and how far they'd got mostly on their own, especially as the two adults were following Cloud's lead.

It seems like Seph is interested in Cloud since their first meeting, but what about Cloud himself? How they became a couple?

5-6 yes, but bear in mind that the Planet was doing a lot of the decision making and speaking through him quite a bit.

Not sexually, but Cloud impressed him, and the maturity he was showing didn't seem that strange to Sephiroth. And Cloud felt the same pull, only he 'recognised' it as their souls resonating, hence his demands that Sephiroth be kept alive as Cloud's promised consort. And I wrote Cloud and Sephiroth's first sexual encounter in Concubine.
