Seen a few times on my f-list [edit] and figured it's a good way to work out extra background for my characters [end edit].

Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my personal fanon.

But please name the fic you want that character from, and it might take a while for me to post my answers.

Note, I've altered the date because this is staying open for a while. If I just can't come up with three facts for a character I've been asked for then I'll tell you so.

I have a question about your new story, Small Town Prejudices. It's so short that it creates more questions than it answers.

Well, it was just intended as a character study piece for the roads diverged community over on insanejournal.

So, can I have some info on Seph? I really want to know how he ended up with Cloud, but also about his early life.

Here you go.

1) His life before he was sent to join the black ops groups consisted almost entirely of training, testing and Hojo's experiments.

1a) He was trained to be a bit afraid of and intimidated by computers, and can barely use them even now - it took Cloud walking him through it almost a dozen times before he could order his groceries over the internet.

2) After Angeal died he seduced the groups hacker, Genesis, into getting all the records from his life and training and sending them to human rights groups and news companies throughout the country. As well as to the US President and Vice-president, who he was fairly sure didn't know about him. And to the heads of just about all the top level law enforcement and security agencies.

2a) As a result of the compensation offered to him in the wake of the scandal Sephiroth is rich enough to do whatever he wants for the rest of his life.

3) He settled in Nibelheim because it was a quiet town, somewhere he could hide away from the world and the media blitz he'd endured during the whole scandal.

3a) He met Cloud by hiring him to be his guide for his first month in Nibelheim, because Cloud seemed to be the only adult without a job around, and learned about Cloud's internet art sales, through a print on demand service, towards the end of the month.

I really liked that story, too, because you really modernized EVERYTHING in there. LOL

The aim was to transplant Sephiroth and Cloud to modern day US and still keep them recognisable.

You did really awesome on this story! Wow. I'm just sad it was so short, because it would have been fun to see a full length of that story.

Glad you enjoyed it, but I just don't have the inspiration to write anything further in that AU. I could be persuaded to write more in my matriarchal Wutai AU, but not this one.
